Wednesday Speaker Series & Community Dinners

The Wednesday Speaker Series gathers America’s best and brightest minds, presenting a unique topic for discussion each week at our Scarbrough Atrium. Each Wednesday evening, students enjoy a meal together prior to the commencement of the guest speaker.

Students hear from academics, entrepreneurs, military leaders and politicians about issues directly related to their curriculum studies, or their lives in the world at large. Speakers past and forthcoming include: Patrick Deneen, Mike Maples, Martin Babinec, Jon Levenson, Gad Saad, and Admiral Rich Brophy.

This activity–dining in community–is integral to the conversational health of our student body. Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to join with each other in discussing the pressing issues of our time over a meal each week, and to continue the conversation long into the night, once the lecture has been completed.
