Expedited Application Deadline: April 15, 2025
Decision Date: April 27, 2025
Deposit Deadlines: May 1, 2025
Starting March 31, 2025, all applicants must adhere to our merit-first application and admissions policy.
If you began your Fall 2025 application before this change, you may complete it under the old policy or opt in to the new one. If you've already applied for admissions in Fall 2025, your admission decision stands. Denied applicants may not reapply this cycle but may apply for Fall 2026.
There is no application fee under the merit-first policy. In exceptional cases, and at the discretion of the Director of Admissions, offers of admission may be made prior to the decision date.
All applicants must submit SAT, ACT, or CLT scores. Given the short turnaround required to receive and verify scores, you must request that standardized test scores (SAT, ACT, or CLT) be sent to the University of Austin immediately after submitting your application. We treat all three tests equally, but we superscore.
-Scores must come directly from the testing agency
-Ensure that scores are received by the University of Austin prior to the April 27 Decision Notification Date
-Include all test attempts — we’ll use your highest scores
-SAT Code: 9190 (Essay section not considered)
-ACT Code: 8137 (Writing section not considered)
-CLT Code: Select “University of Austin” in your CLT account
If you scored SAT ≤ 1450, ACT ≤ 32, CLT ≤ 104, submit exceptional AP (4/5), IB (5/6/7), and SAT Subject Test scores (700+). List up to three verifiable achievements, each in a single sentence. No essays, extracurriculars, or GPAs are considered.
For automatic admission, applicants must be between 17 and 23 years old at the start of the academic year. They must not have completed a four-year undergraduate degree but may hold a two-year degree.
All applicants must submit one of the following:
- A high school transcript showing progress toward or completion of a diploma.
- An official GED certificate including the date of completion.
Official transcripts must be sent directly by the issuing institution (transcripts sent by students will not be accepted). Submit transcripts by the application deadline via:
- Electronically: Parchment or Scoir
- By mail to:
University of Austin
Attn: Office of Admissions
522 Congress Ave, STE 300

Home-schooled applicants must have their education administrator submit a transcript including:
- Overall GPA
- Course list with semester grades
- Brief course descriptions
- Record of any college coursework (if any)
- Parent/administrator signature
Before enrolling, all admitted students must submit a final high school transcript or equivalent showing completion of a diploma.
Note: GPA is not a criterion for admission to the University of Austin.
The integrity check confirms, at the discretion of the Admission Committee, that each admitted student meets our high standards, including honesty, responsibility, and readiness.
- Submit one recommendation letter from someone who knows you well and can attest to your integrity.
- Disclose any disciplinary, criminal, or ethical issues in your history.
- If we have concerns about your application, we may ask for an interview to verify information.
