University of Austin Comes to Denver, Colorado
May 7, 2024, AUSTIN, TEXAS – This summer, the University of Austin brings its undergraduate curriculum to high school students through a pre-college, immersive summer program in Denver, Colorado, June 7-9.
The program’s discussion-based, seminar courses will challenge students with college-level coursework, including “The Technology and Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence,” “Democracy and the Good Life,” and “Stravinsky or Swiftie: Which Way, Modern Music?”
“Life of the Mind” is tuition-free, and participants will receive complimentary lunch daily. Participants are responsible for their travel and lodging expenses as applicable, as well as the costs of assigned books and other reading materials. All participants are required to have adult supervision outside of program hours.
The program is designed for rising high school juniors and seniors, and participants must be at least 15 years old.
