Jacob Lindsey serves as Director of Admissions. He graduated with honors from Rice University with a BA in English and Philosophy, completing a Thesis on the tension between medievalist and postmodern worldviews in John Kennedy Toole’s A Confederacy of Dunces. He also holds an MS in Education with a specialization in Learning Design & Technology from Purdue University.
Lindsey served as a Teach For America Corps Member in Houston from 2010 to 2012, where he received the Kinder Excellence in Teaching Award and was selected as a regional finalist for the Sue Lehmann Excellence in Teaching Award. Prior to joining UATX, Lindsey served as a Course Leader for YES Prep Public Schools, Dean of Academics at Second Baptist School, and High School Principal at Hill Country Christian School of Austin.
