The University of Austin (UATX) and Unchained, a leader in bitcoin financial services, have partnered to create the first long-term university endowment holding in bitcoin.

Together the organizations are committed to raising $5 million for the University’s long-term endowment, the proceeds from which UATX will hold in bitcoin for a minimum of 5 years.

In addition, UATX and Unchained are jointly hosting events, guest lectures, and debates about the future of currency. You can be a part of these efforts, and help to ensure there is no single point of failure to UATX’s long-term holdings, by donating bitcoin below.
